There are currently many CAE software and it is well recognized that modeling using computer can help for analyzing, testing, optimizing and predicting something we expect. Capabilities of the software are now quite high and the users need to know how to use such tools. But it is not easy to use those appropriately in many practical cases since the users also need some basic knowledge regarding not only experimental setup but also simulation and its know-how for obtaining useful output.

ATHENASYS can help CAE software users with our experiences for widespread applications as a processing medium for surface modification, such as chemical vapor deposition (CVD), plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD), and dry etching .

Our web site is described in mainly Japanese and here is the brief description in English:

1. Products

1.1 CFD-ACE+ which is the first multiphysics software,
CFD-TOPO which is a topology simulator for mainly semiconductor manufacturing processes ( such as dry
etching, CVD, PECVD, physical vapor deposition (PVD), etc.,
are our main products whereas they are provided via Nihon-ESI.
We also use the software for our consulting work.
1.2 CVDSim is now available for CVD Process Simulation
1.3 small but useful tools by Excel which can be useful with CAE software
1.4 many references related with CFD-ACE+ are listed here

2. Support

2.1 The application areas are mainly CVD/plasma processes and others related with chemical reactions.
We will help and encourage engineers for such process simulation and topology simulation
We would also use a calculator of elelctron swarm parameters for plasma simulation
2.2 we can build tools and/or help for building reaction mechanisms per our customer's request
2.3 and we assist SEAJ M&S(Modeling and Simulation) working group with plasma/topology simulation
2.4 useful tools by Excel, Mathematica etc.
2.5 "Door to Reactor Simulation" for CAE engineer who likes to learn some tips for reactor simulation
2.6 and to pick up some key points from other researchers papers

Just a bit about "Athena". Athena is knows as a goddess in Greek mythology. She also would come to be known as the goddess as philosophy. Athena was a daughter of Metis, wisdom or knowledge. Athena is frequently depicted with an owl perched on her head or sitting on one of her shoulders. It is believed that Athena was either an owl herself or a bird goddess in general.
